She Shoots...She Scores...

This bench, on display in the Library, was created by Cassandra Deiters, a Parkland student and women’s basketball player.

The bench was made using pieces of the old Parkland Gymnasium floor for the top and sides. Oak was used to create the legs.

Cassandra created this piece for her 3-D Design class to commemorate the gymnasium before the remodel.

Need a little boost to help you get through final exams? Help yourself to coffee and tea this week in the Library as you head for a quiet spot to study (the upper floor and the computer classroom are silent study zones).
