Need a quiet spot to study? Head to the upper floor and/or the computer classroom for silent study zones.

Parkland Library magazine giveaway! Hundreds of back issues free. Stop in and help yourself to some great older magazines. Stop at the Information Desk to find out where they are located.

Don't forget to have them desensitized before you leave the Library.

Like Your Stuff? Don't Leave it Unattended

Just an end-of-the-semester reminder...

Unattended laptops, cell phones, iPods, calculators, text books, and wallets (whether in or out of a bag/backpack) attract thieves. Please do not step away from your valuables, even for short trips to the copier, printer, or restroom. Instead, pack up and take your belongings with you or have a friend watch them while you're gone.

Note: Thanks to Lafayette College Library for this wording. Thievery is not limited to one college or one place. Be alert in public places.

Crisis Nursery Donations

All this week (November 29 – December 3) contact any AAWCC Committee Member to make a donation and have a stocking hung with your name in the Parkland Library.

Donations will also be accepted this Friday, 11:30 am – 1:30 pm in the College Center.

Help the local Crisis Nursery continue to assist families in need.
