Thanksgiving 2011 Hours

During the week of Thanksgiving, we will be open Monday and Tuesday from 7:30 am to 10 pm. On Wednesday (November 23rd), we will close at 5 pm, and will not reopen until Monday November 28th at 7:30 am.

Most popular magazines @ Parkland? The Top 10 List!

Remember the "please don't reshelve the magazines" signs in October? We've completed our use study and compiled the top most-used magazines. (Drum roll please...)

Not surprisingly, popular magazines are the most "popular." We still need the more academic titles for research and professional reading. If you'd like us to add a title, please let us know.

Academic Use Only : 10am - 2pm, Monday-Friday

Yes, it's true. There are times when we have many more students wanting to use computers for class assignments than we have computers. Because this happens, we are starting "Academic Use Only" for all public computers Monday - Friday between 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

We really want everyone who needs a computer for online library resources and to work on a class assignment to be able to use one. So only homework/academic-related sites will be accessible during these "Academic Use Only" times. Please help your fellow students out by respecting these limits.
