Need an alternative to Wikipedia during their 24-hour SOPA protest? Try one of our credible Parkland Library online resources: Credo Reference. You'll find over 500 reference books (dictionaries, encyclopedias, thesauri, etc.) in Credo from respected academic publishers. This resource is available 24/7 for Parkland students, faculty, and staff anywhere with an internet connection.

Library Closed: January 14-16th in Observance of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday

The library will be closed on Saturday, January 14 through Monday, January 16th in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday. Regular hours will resume on Tuesday, January 17th.

For information about Dr. King, visit The King Center website. It was "established in 1968 by Coretta Scott King, The King Center is the official, living memorial dedicated to advancing the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr."

Wi-Fi - bring your laptop to access the free wi-fi throughout the library. log in with your student email info.

Printing - 10 cents per page (black & white) / 50 cents per page (color). can pay with cash OR add cash to your Parkland ID.

Copies - 10 cents per page (black & white) / 50 cents per page (color)

Scanning - FREE...ask for details at the Information Desk

Fax - only fax service on campus for students! read this for more info.

Headphones - buy a set for $1.50 OR check out some for free at the Service Desk
