It's time to reduce, reuse and recycle folks! Today is set aside to remember to take care of Mother Earth. To help spread awareness of environmental issues, a graphic design class helped by designing posters and a reusable bag, on sale at the Library's Service Desk for $5. The posters are helping to launch GreenMunckie, an environmental project funded by the College Planning Committee. Stop by to enjoy the displays or buy a bag or just enjoy the pictures. Remember the Wellness Display has books and films on how to be more environmentally conscious!
I think that I shall never see

This campus has too few recycling bins.
We take no power from solar or wind.
The “Munkie” bags are cheap and petroleum-based
In no time flat, they will end up as waste.
It looks like these posters cannot be recycled.
If you ask my opinion, this should all be reviled.
Parkland can’t market itself into “Green.”
More meaningful changes need to be seen.
